Binh Thang Tran

- Dr. Thang is currently a faculty member at the Faculty of Public Health, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, where he teaches courses in health economics, behavioral science, health communication, and cancer epidemiology.
- His research interests primarily focus on health financing issues and health technology assessment in non-communicable diseases and public health in general, as well as policy advocacy.
- Dr. Thang has authored or co-authored over 100 articles in international and domestic journals.
- Beyond his teaching and research endeavors, Dr. Thang serves as a member of the editorial board of PLOS ONE (Health economics and Health services) and is affiliated with the ISPOR (The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research) network on health economics and research outcomes.
- He also plays key roles in policy advocacy for cervical cancer screening in Vietnam.
